Telling it "the way it is"

Christina is a Latin American singer song-writer who's southwestern mariachi style is fused with country, blues and soul.  Both lyrically and vocally, her songs  provoke raw emotion.   

She has been singing, and playing guitar and vihuela in the  Santa Fe, New Mexico based band  “Mariachi Sonidos del Monte” for the last 16 years.  

Her voice has been compared to Linda Rondstadt and her stlye to Tish Hinojosa.

In 2016, she was nominated for Female Vocalist of the year by the NM Hispanic Music awards for her recording of “Crucifixo de Piedra” 

In 2023, Christina's debut original single “Tears For Tomorrow” was nominated for Best Original Song  by the New Mexico Music Awards
